The NEIU Noyce scholarship program is accepting applications for two scholarship recipients for the 2022-23 academic year.
Below you will find the required steps to apply for the NSF Noyce Teacher Scholarship and the NSF Noyce STEM Intern Program that were laid out for the funding period of 2017-2022. Please direct questions to Billie Díaz bm-diaz@neiu.edu or Laura West l-west2@neiu.edu.
Undergraduate Level Entry for Noyce Scholarship
Applicants must submit all of the following:
- Completed and signed application form
- Letter of recommendation from a faculty member in your major field of study (Tip: share this helpful instruction sheet when requesting a letter.)
- Current unofficial transcript from Northeastern Illinois University or City Colleges of Chicago
- Proof of FAFSA completion to evaluate financial need
Graduate Level Entry for Noyce Scholarship
Applicants must submit all of the following:
- Completed and signed application form
- Letter of recommendation from a faculty member in your major field of study or from faculty in Secondary Education submitted by the faculty member (Tip: share this helpful instruction sheet when requesting a letter.)
- Unofficial transcript from undergraduate institution
- Proof of FAFSA completion to evaluate financial need
Noyce STEM Intern Program
Applicants must submit all of the following:
- Completed and signed application form
- Letter of recommendation from a high school teacher, a community college instructor, or a current NEIU professor
- Current unofficial transcript from NEIU or the City Colleges of Chicago
