The second major component of the Summer Institute in Kurdish Language and Culture is the Teacher Training Program. Participants learn how to integrate culture, content and language into Kurdish instruction at various proficiency levels for heritage and non-heritage learners. The two-week, 30-hour program includes hands-on teaching activities that can be directly implemented in various K-12, post-secondary and private settings.
