The Bronzeville Neighborhood Research Project is a collaboration of student, faculty and community researchers at Northeastern Illinois University’s Carruthers Center for Inner City Studies. The mission of the Bronzeville Neighborhood Research Project is to examine the rich history and culture of the Bronzeville community. The activities of the Bronzeville Neighborhood Research Project include ongoing faculty and student research projects, field trips, workshops, neighborhood tours, the Bronzeville Bloggers blog site, lectures from authors of books on the Great Migration/Bronzeville and a community mural project titled "Up From the South to Bronzeville."
