Veterinary Assistant Training
In Progress; next class Fall 2018.

WIOA Approved Training Program
This non-credit program is offered through NEIU's Office of Community and Professional Education, in partnership with MK Education. The training provides 150 hours of instruction in veterinary assistant practices and 100 hours in hands-on externship experience. This program prepares candidates to work in veterinary clinics, animal hospitals, in animal control and for pet adoption facilities.

Pharmacy Technician Training
In progress; next class Fall 2018

WIOA Approved Training Program
This non-credit program is offered through NEIU's Office of Community and Professional Education, in partnership with MK Education. This training provides 180 hours of instruction (36 hours in the classroom) in retail and hospital pharmacy practices and 120 hours in hands-on externship experience. This program prepares candidates for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE).

Dental Assistant Training
In progress; next class Fall 2018
The Dental Assisting curriculum prepares the student to take on significant responsibility as a member of the dental health care team. Possible employment positions include dental offices, hospitals, clinics, dental schools and professional sales. The course includes classroom instruction, lab exercises and 100+ externship hours in dental facilities.

Clinical Medical Assistant
In progress; next class Fall 2018

This non-credit program is offered through NEIU's Office of Community and Professional Education, in partnership with MK Education. The training provides 64 hours of classroom instruction (16 weeks) in Patient Care, Medical Administration, Phlebotomy and EKG and 220 hours (12 weeks) of hands-on externship experience. 
Saturdays, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
