Summer EsCAPE Day Camps for Kids and Teens

The Office of Community & Professional Education (CAPE) is pleased to offer the following summer day camps for kids and teens. More offerings will be coming soon, so please check back. Please email cape@neiu.edu with any questions or suggestions for future programming.

Week of July 20-24

The Writer's EsCAPE for ages 12-14 - Online
9 a.m.-12 p.m.
(Projects 9-12 but Zoom calls will be more limited. Schedule coming soon.)
With fun prompts and music, participants will be given the tools they need to write creatively and model stories that will also be read.

Week of Aug. 3-7
Intro to Perspective Drawing for ages 9-14 - Online

10-11 a.m.
Learn about basic drawing techniques in this five-day online class. Learn One Point Perspective, and Two Point Perspective. Apply what you learn to the things you are interested in. This class will meet live on Zoom. The instructor will do a live demo for each day for participants to follow along with.
