Brass for Beginners® A Head Start for Brass!
Saturdays:10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
This 12 week session takes students on a trumpet treasure hunt, across time and space, following the adventures of Ragnar, the hypothetical "first trumpeter" in human history. It uses a new, innovative classroom instrument that is fun and easy to play, and offers extensive online resources to inspire students to play at home. It helps students develop the fundamental and aural skills necessary for success on any brass instrument while inspiring creative development. This class is the perfect springboard for taking private lessons on trumpet, french horn, trombone, or tuba with the brass instructors at NEIU.
