Are you a first-year incoming freshman looking to build your confidence in reading and math? The English and Math Enrichment, Readiness and Growth Experience (EMERGE) Summer Program at Northeastern Illinois University offers two sessions to help you gain the skills needed to successfully place into at least one higher level math course and/or place directly into English 101 for the Fall 2014 semester. Stage Center Theatre to Present "Boeing Boeing"

The Stage Center Theatre at Northeastern Illinois University will present Marc Camoletti’s “Boeing-Boeing.” As a testament to its popularity, in 1991 this play was listed in the “Guinness Book of Records” as the most performed French play throughout the world. Set in the 1960s, bachelor Bernard couldn’t be happier. He has a flat in Paris and is engaged to three beautiful stewardesses who don’t know about each other. When Bernard’s friend Robert comes to town and the new and improved Boeing jet gets thrown off schedule, Bernard’s plans get tangled.

Northeastern Illinois University Makes $1,000 Promise to 400 CPS Students

Northeastern Illinois University teamed up with the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) to host the HACU Youth Leadership Development Forum for middle and high school Chicago Public Schools students on Friday, October 25. To close out the day’s events, Northeastern announced that the 400 students in attendance would receive a $1,000 scholarship if they chose to attend Northeastern after high school.
