Background 

Marius was born in Romania; he came to Chicago at the age of 6. Marius graduated from Senn Academy High School in the Chicago’s Edgewater area. He then obtained his B.A. from NEIU in 2002, and continued on to obtain an A.M. in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago in 2004. Additional Information 

In 2010, Marius organized and planned a program called the “Bridge to SSA” that brings current Bachelor of Social Work students from Northeastern Illinois University to the School of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago to receive their Masters in Social Work.

In 2012, Marius founded, organized and is the Executive Director of Chicago Social Service Systems (CS3). CS3 is a social service agency that provides mental health, social service delivery development and (pending) microenterprise development services in the communities of Logan Square and Edgewater/Andersonville in Chicago. Marius speaks Romanian and Spanish.
