The Creative Writing Minor program affords students:

  • the time and intellectual space necessary for writing to evolve
  • access to information about contemporary literature from teachers who are writers on the scene
  • mentorship from those very teachers
  • close-reading/-writing skills that are applicable to nearly any professional or artistic situation
