Introduction

The Art History minor introduces students to numerous periods of art, cultural and historical events, visual means of expression and communication, and research methods. Students who minor in Art History have the opportunity to serve as curators or jurors for Art + Design Department exhibitions and to work with the Fine Arts Center Gallery director, as well as have access to Northeastern’s extensive collection of more than 250,000 art history slides.
