I am an artist with the greatest skills in painting and sculpting. I capture amazing moments make lasting physical memories in my past life. Traveling to new and exciting places to experience the views inspire me to take pictures of them. I transform them into paintings and sculptures to be memories from my past travels. After capturing through my camera, or looking through the photo albums, painting these views is almost developing a big picture onto a canvas. I realized that taking pictures with my camera is not enough because I want these memories to be more developed and creative in my point of view. Sculpting a few pieces of the places I traveled is another way to look back to the place where I traveled. These sculptures will have some of the city’s iconic landmarks.
While looking through my photos, I feel that it looks more incomplete. Such as, there are no clouds in the picture. So for my paintings, I want to include the clouds so that my painted skies will not be empty. Also, when making the sculptures, I wanted the iconic structures to be taller than the others because this landmark represents what the place is known for. Even though I’m creative in most of my art, I also like to go straight forward to the pictures. One reason why I chose to paint the pictures of my travels is to visualize the smallest details. But the most important reason why I painted these places is to visualize how this place looked at from the first time I visited there. And the reason why I sculpt is to hold these amazing places in my hands. Painting and sculpting all the places I traveled captures the more accurate details from the pictures from my camera. The views of my travels are beautiful because my mind is blown away by the variety of colors and small details in the pictures I took. These paintings are important because they represent the beauty and the changes of how these places looked over time.
