The NEIU-El Centro Campus is located approximately four miles south of the main campus at 3119 North Pulaski Road, one block south of Belmont Avenue. The NEIU-El Centro Campus makes available the general education program of the University to students interested in taking classes primarily during evening hours and/or on the weekends. In addition, the NEIU-El Centro Campus offers undergraduate courses from the Social Work and Human Resource Development programs and graduate courses from the Educational Leadership and Development and Reading programs. All the classes at the NEIU-El Centro Campus are taught in English, with the exception of the language courses.
Course Registration Procedures
NEIU students admitted through NEIU-El Centro Campus receive priority course registration at NEIU-El Centro Campus. Non-El Centro Campus students who plan to take any classes at NEIU-El Centro Campus may register during all registration periods. Please refer to the individual academic departments in the department notes section for important information that may affect enrollment and registration. Also, refer to the policy on first class session attendance.
