Background 

Connie Smith joined the Office of Institutional Research in November 2012 as a Senior Analyst. Connie brings with her 11 years’ experience in Institutional Research. At DePaul University she was a research analyst in their IR office, she was the IPEDS key holder and was responsible for all the state and federal reporting; she also managed the student workers and coordinated all publications and surveys for the university. She holds a BA in Industrial Organizational Psychology and a Masters in Sociology from DePaul University. Her main contributions in the NEIU IR Office are the Cost Study, IBHE reporting, Student Attrition and Retention and other duties assigned by the Director.
