Full Time, Grant Position
The Enrollment Coordinator for TRIO/Student Support Services-Access will coordinate support services for students with disabilities. The Enrollment Coordinator for TRIO/Student Support Services-Access will also be responsible for the coordination of the recruitment, enrollment and academic support of program participants for the SSS Disability program in addition to assist TRIO director in the writing of reports, evaluations, and budgets.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Enrollment Coordinator for TRIO/Student Support Services-Access reports to the Director of TRIO/Student Support Services, who in turn, reports to the Executive Director of Learning Support, who reports to the Vice President for Academic Affairs/Provost. The Enrollment Coordinator will develop, implement and evaluate tracking system for enrollment/academic progress; will conduct on-going assessment and review, and oversee the progress of enrollment goals; will serve as academic advisor for program participants; will coordinate Tutoring/Mentoring, including, recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision; and will assist with the coordination of developmental education (Math, English or Reading) for program participants. The Enrollment Coordinator will also assist directors in the writing of reports, evaluations, and budgets; and will collect and maintain participant records.
Preferred master’s degree in education, counseling, special education, vocational rehab, psychology, student personnel or a related field, bachelor’s degree required. Demonstrated knowledge of academic, career and advising principles and practices is required. Experience in academic advisement in higher education or related field is also required. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, customer service, communication and time management skills with ability to pay attention to details and follow-through, ability to teach individuals and small group instruction, and successful experience working with adults from diverse backgrounds, including educational, socioeconomic, culturally ethnic, and physical and/or learning disabilities are required. Strong verbal and written communications are required. Previous experience working on a federally funded program is preferred. Software skills including Word, Excel, Access, and student database systems are required.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental and vision benefits, sick and vacation days, and participation in the State Universities Retirement System.
