  1. Licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in Illinois with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Division of Professional Regulation. 
  2. Two Years of professional nursing experience

(This position requires a background check.)

Departmental Screening:

  • Direct Client Care – Triage student health needs, assess clients through collection of subjective and objective data, provide appropriate treatment care, and make referrals to medical care, counseling services, student support services, and community services as appropriate.

This position provides direct nursing care and health support to clients in Student Health Services (Main Campus, El Centro and CCICS) through utilization of the nursing process of assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of wellness initiatives at the main campus, El Centro and CCICS sites, working closely with the Director of Student Health Services.

$45,000 - $60,000 per year

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
(Hours may vary depending on departmental needs)
