Course           Properties of rational integers, congruences, quadratic
Description      residues, and Diophantine equations
 
Method           Lectures, question and answer sessions, moderated individ
of Instruction   ual and group problem solving sessions, hand-in problem 
                 assignments.
 
Homework         Homework assignment will be announced at end of every class.
and quizes       Homework will be collected at the beginning of next class. 
                 No late homework will be accepted. One worst scores will be 
                 dropped. Homework will be counted  for 150 points.
 
Exams:           Midterm Exam:      Monday, June 14,   Session I, 150 points 
                 Final Exam:  Wedesday, June 31, 6:30-8:30 pm, 200 points
