Course           Properties of rational integers, congruences, quadratic
Description      residues, and Diophantine equations

Method           Lectures, question and answer sessions, moderated individ- 
of Instruction   ual and group problem solving sessions, hand-in problem 
                 assignments.
Homework         Homework assignment will be announced at end of every class
and quizes       and posted on the website. Homework will be collected at the
                 beginning of next class. No late homework will be accepted.
                 One worst scores will be dropped. Homework will be counted 
                 for 150 points.
Exams:           Midterm Exam:      Monday, June 9,   Session I, 150 points 
                 Final Exam:  Wedesday, June 25, 6:30-8:30 pm, 200 points
