Text:            Elementary Differential Equations with Applications
                 Edwatds & Penney, 3rd edition, Prentice Hall

Homework:        Assignment will be announced at end of each class and 
                 posted on the website. Homework will be collected at 
                 the beginning of every class and will be graded. 
                 Late homework will not be accepted but three worst 
                 scores will be dropped. Homework will be counted for 
                 200 points

Exams:           There will be two one-hour midterm exams (Feb. 23, and
                 April 13) counted 100 points each. Final Exam will be 
                 on May 4, 1998, 8:00-9:50 pm Monday and will be counted 
                 for 200 points. 

Grading:         90-100% (540-500 pts): A, 80-89%(480-539 pts): B, 
                 65-79% (390-479 pts): C, 55-64%(330-389 pts): D
