Text: Introduction to Linear Algebra, 5th edition, by Johnson, Riess and Arnold
Course Matrices and system of linear equations, analytic geometry in Description n-spaces, introduction to vector spaces, linear transformations, determinants and eigenvectors

Homework: Homework assignment will be announced at end every class and will be collected at the beginning of the next class. Late homework will not be accepted but three worst scores will be dropped. Homework will be counted for 100 points.
Exams: There will be two midterm exams: Midterm Exam 1: (100 points) Wednesday, Feb. 13 Midterm Exam 2: (100 points) Monday, Apr. 8 A comprehensive Final Exam will be on Wed., May 1, 6:00-8:00 and will be counted for 200 points.
Grading: 90-100% (450-500 pts): A, 75%(375-449 pts): B, 60% (300-374 pts): C, 45-59%(225-299 pts): D
