                 Also, Math 102 Intermediate Algebra skills are ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL
Text:            Finite Mathematics and Calculus with Applications
                 Lial et al, 5th edition, Harper Collins OR
                 the same title made for NEIU
Calculator:      A scientific calculator is required. A graphing
                 calculator is acceptable but not necessary
Homework:        Homework assignment will be announced at end 
                 of every session and posted on the website. Homework will 
                 be collected at the beginning of every Monday and 
                 Wednesday classes and will be graded. Late homework will  
                 not be accepted but three worst scores will be dropped. 
                 Homework will counted 100 points.
Exams:           There will be two one-hour midterm exams (June 7, 
                 June 21) counted 100 points each.  
                 A comprehensive Final Exam will be on Wed., June 30, 
                 10:40-12:40 and will be counted for 200 points.
Grading:         90-100% (450-500 pts): A, 80-89%(400-449 pts): B, 
                 65-79% (325-399 pts): C, 55-64%(275-324 pts): D
Free tutoring is available in the Math Lab, 4th floor, Library.
Department secretaries will not give out final grades. Please do not ask.
Friday, June 11 is the last day to drop this class.
The grades of I (Incomplete) and R are NOT given in this course.
