Attendance: Attendance is important. Starting from the fourth absence, 
            every absence without valid excuse will cost you 1% of points
Homework:   Tentative homework assignments for each section are enclosed.
            Actual assignment will be announced at end of each class 
            session and posted on the website. Homework will be collected at
            the beginning of every Monday and Wednesday and will be graded.
            Late homework will not be accepted but three worst scores will 
            be dropped. Every assignment worth 10 points. At end of the 
            semester, your total points from homework will be scaled on a
            100 point basis and could be used as a substitute for the worst
            midterm exam. 
Exams:      There will be three one-hour midterm exams (June 22, July 13, and
            Aug. 3). The worst score may be replaced by homework points.
            A comprehensive Final Exam will be held on Mon., Aug. 10, 4:00-
            5:50 pm and will be counted for 200 points. 
Grading:    90-100% A, 80-89% B, 70-79% C, 60-69% D, 0-59% F

Department secretaries will not give out final grades. Please do not ask.
In order to continue to the next math course, you must complete Math 102 
with a course grade A, B or C. 
Friday, July 17 is the last day to drop this class and receive a grade
of W. The grades of I (incomplete) and R are NOT given in this course. Any
student who is officially registered for this course after July 30 will 
receive an A, B, C, D or F only. NO OTHER GRADES ARE POSSIBLE.
