The Weekend Institute for Professional Development provides undergraduate students with course offerings on Friday evenings as well as Saturday mornings and afternoons at three sites: El Centro, the University’s academic center for the Latino community at 3119 North Pulaski Road in Chicago; the Jacob H. Carruthers Center for Inner City Studies, an academic center serving the inner city communities at 700 East Oakwood Boulevard in the heart of Chicago; and at 5500 North St.Louis, the Northeastern Illinois University Main Campus.
