Passionate about helping Organized & Available Punctual & Dependable Flexible Student tutors and mentors are needed to assist TRIO students in learning the material necessary to succeed in their academic courses. Tutors will work with students one-to-one and in small groups to: Tutor,
review and practice class work materials Answer
questions and assist in the completion of academic
coursework Help
with homework, writing assignments, and test preparation Assist
with class preparation, organization of notes, and creation
of study guides Develop
study skills, note-taking skills, textbook reading skill,
and organizational skills Tutors are especially needed in the areas of beginning and advanced math, writing, computer science and business. Requirements: strong interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, study skills, organizational skills, and computer literacy. Completion of coursework in tutoring area with an A or B is required. Tutors will work 4-9 hours per week. Download
