Students, who qualify and are accepted into the TRIO SSS program, will receive support in applying for financial aid, choosing a major, and selecting and registering for their courses. They will also receive continuous advising, mentoring, tutoring, and other support services to support their success toward graduation. TRIO Student Support Services offers academic, social and personal planning support to students who need extra supports to be successful in the classroom. Supports include: Personal,
Academic and Career Guidance Advising Tutoring,
Mentoring and Peer Support Financial
Aid Counseling, Financial
Literacy Workshops Social and Cultural ActivitiesEach student will receive continuous assessment of their need for specific services and an individual plan for addressing identified needs. TRIO will monitor academic progress of each student. Students from low income households, students with disabilities and first generation college students are eligible. RESOURCES
