All new Outlook users – including new Outlook Exchange users who are new to Outlook – are recommended to attend Outlook Introduction. In addition, two new workshops have been added to the program to introduce the features unique to Exchange.
Outlook Exchange Basics: This workshop is intended for those who have been set up on Outlook Exchange and who have already attended Outlook Introduction. Outlook Exchange Basics introduces the features that are unique to Outlook Exchange, including accessing and using Outlook through a web browser.
Outlook Exchange for Calendar Sharing: Outlook Exchange for Calendar Sharing is offered jointly with Outlook Exchange Basics. Participants may register for only the basics session, or both basics and calendar sharing. Participants may not register for only the calendar sharing session. Outlook Exchange for Calendar Sharing will cover the various methods of calendar sharing, as well as the tools and processes for setting up and using these methods.
Both Outlook Exchange Basics and Outlook Exchange for Calendar Sharing will be offered multiple times in September. The Exchange workshop schedules will be sent out to departments as they are set up on Exchange.
Please Note: To request registration for the workshops listed below, email trainme@neiu.edu with the names and departments of all requested participants.
