The AEE Heartland Region Conference "Core Issues in Experiential Education"
will take place March 21 - 23rd, 2003 at Miracle Camp, just outside
Kalamazoo, Michigan. The conference committee is excited to return to this
former host site of the region conference.

The theme of the conference is Core Issues in Experiential Education. An
excellent collection of presenters and speakers will be on hand to share
their experiences as we come together for this 12th annual conference.
Registration brochures will be mailed to AEE members in December and will be
available at the TEAM Conference. If you are not an AEE member and would
like to receive a brochure contact Conference Convener Tony Alvarez from the
University of Michigan School of Social Work at (734) 936-4949. In addition
to great workshops during the weekend, there will also be a few one and two
day intensive workshops including Wilderness First Aid. For more
information, contact Pre-conference Convener Gary Stauffer of Adventures in
Training at (734) 944-2615. Workshop proposals may be sent to Sylvia Dresser
at Sdres15556@aol.com and individuals and organizations interested in
advertising in the conference program, or exhibiting at the conference
should contact Keith Jacobs at (773) 944-5580.

The AEE International Conference " Moving Active Learning Forward" will be
November 7 - 9, 2002 at the Radisson Riverfront Hotel in St. Paul Minnesota.
The 2002 International Conference program offers plenty of opportunities to
engage attendees. Our Advanced Practitioner Fishbowl Caucuses and
Advanced/advancing Practitioners Network Gathering allows all levels of
practitioner to bond. A 14,000 square foot exhibit hall will feature
vending, demonstrations, bookstore, music and networking. For registration
information contact, Cheryl Schwartz at (303) 440 -8844, ext. 12 or visit
AEE online at www.aee.org.
