Peace Labyrinth: This labyrinth is built with charka stones carved by students of the Waldorf school in Chicago. The labyrinth was laid out and the stones were installed on October 20, 2003. On the left is a view of the labyrinth; on the right is a picture of one of the stones. Below are people from the Waldorf school, people from TEAM, and Johannes Matthiessen who designed and laid out the labyrinth. In the bottom right picture are Joe Kish, Johannes Matthiessen, and Dan Creely.

Monks from the Monks from the Drepung Gomang Monastic College visited our Peace Circle on Octbober 25, 2003. To find out more about the monks, please visit the Drepung Gomang Monastic College website at http://www.gomang.org/  . The monks came for a Fire Puja with Tribal Elders at Northeastern IL University
at 12 noon.

Pictured below is our fire circle, where the monks chanted. Next, the monks planted a white pine tree for our Peace area. Afterwards, we all walked the new labyrinth. The bottom right picture is at our Peace Pole with several of our particpants.

Near the end, we gave a gift of TEAM t-shirts to the monks.
