Bring your events to the Student Union!
Whether you are planning a conference for 200 or meeting for 10, the Student Union Reservations staff is
here to provide a one-stop service. We will provide assistance with selecting the appropriate facilities for your event
as well as the coordination of University support (audio-visual, public safety, catering, etc.)
The Student Union offers 11 meeting and event spaces. Various locations are suitable for meetings, conferences,
receptions, banquets, dances, movies, etc.
Event Planning with the Student Union
Requests for non-academic use of University facilities are made by completing and submitting the appropriate reservations
request. All form(s) must be submitted to the Space Administrator for review. If you have questions about the form,
please contact the Reservations at 773.442.4631 or via
e-mail.
A request for space is used to initiate the request process and does not guarantee a facility reservation. The
University Space Administrator will review the form and determine whether or not the reservation can be made.
You should receive a Confirmation Sheet within 2-3 days of submitting your request. You will need to sign and return
this form to confirm your reservation.
Sponsor Planning Meeting
Student Union Reservations will coordinate these meetings to provide one-stop service to our clients. Representatives from
the Student Union, University Events, Food Service and Parking attend these meetings, as needed. This enables you to
save time by discussing the multiple details of your event at one meeting.
