Locker Rental                                                                                                                 NEIU students, faculty, and staff may rent lockers by the semester with valid ID.  Locker rentals take place at the Information Center, located in Village Square (current hours).*

 *Lockers are not transferable.

Rental Fees/Deposits                                                                                                                      $5 rent per semester                                                                                                                      $10 locker deposit **

**If a lock is not returned at the end of the renewal period, or upon request, or if an assignment is terminated for reason of misuse, the deposit will be forfeited

Procedures                                                                                                                                    To rent a locker you must bring your NEIU I.D. along with a class schedule or account summary for the current term.

Music lockers 1st floor of the FA and E-wing (Music Majors only)

To rent a locker you must be a Music major and obtain a copy of your schedule and take it to the Music department as proof of current enrollment. You will then receive a memo which must be given to the Information Center.

No rentals will be done without the memo.

Lockers in E-Wing are for Music Majors only for the first 2 weeks. In order to rent a locker you must obtain a copy of your schedule or account summary and take it to the Music Dept as proof of current enrollment. You will then receive a memo which must be given to the Information Center. After the first 2 weeks the lockers are available to everyone.

Art lockers FA 2nd floor (Art Majors only)                                                                                         To rent lockers you must be an Art Major and obtain a copy of your schedule or account summary and take it to the Art Dept as proof of current enrollment. You will then receive a memo which must be given to the Information Center.

No rentals will be done without the memo.

Renewal                                                                                                                                       The renewal period begins 3 weeks prior to the end of the semester and ends 5 business days after the end of the each semester.

All lockers not renewed must be vacated and cleaned by the end of the renewal period.

Discounted Movie Passes
The Student Union offers discounted movie passes good at any AMC theatre, Loews theatre, Cineplex Odeon theatre, Magic Johnson theatre, and Star theatre.  The passes are $6.00 each with a limit of two per NEIU ID (student, staff, faculty, and alum) per semester.

Please see passes for additional limitations.

 

Lost and Found
NEIU's Lost and Found can be found at the Information Center.  All items are logged and kept there for pickup by the owner.  Please note that purses and wallets go to Public Safety.  In order to pick up your item you must have a valid ID and you must be able to provide a detailed description of the item(s) in question.

If you find an item on campus, please return it to the Lost and Found at the Information Center.

Event Hosting
The Student Union hosts are here to provide on-site support for your events.  The host will typically greet you at the beginning of your event to ask if you need additional support (regarding room setup, equipment, catering, etc).  If you need assistance after the host has greeted you, please visit the Information Center located in Village Square or call x4290 from any University Phone.  During the Administrative Office's hours, you may also stop by SU207 or phone x6099 for assistance.
