Bryan Edward Avis (Trooper, Cop, Gravedigger, Grandfather) is currently a junior here at NEIU. His past favorite parts were the Irishman in The Hebrew Lesson and Merriman in The Importance of Being Earnest. Later this semester, he will make his directorial debut with the studio series production of Water and Wine. In addition "" to acting, he enjoys boxing, cooking and traveling. He plans to visit Italy, Ireland, Madagascar, Africa, Miami and L.A. in the next year. David
Ropinski (Giovani) is thrilled to make this production his NEIU
stage debut. A newcomer to Northeastern, David is enjoying his time working
in the theatre department. David would like to thank his mother and father,
Rodney for giving him this great opportunity, Amy for being his biggest
fan, Alan for technical support, Ashley for little girl kisses, Becky for
big girl kisses, and the cast and crew for making me feel right at home.

Garrett
West (Antonia) is originally from Sanford, Florida and completed
her B.A. at Duke University in Art History and Visual Arts. She has been
in numerous theatre, television and film productions including Shakespeare’s
Women, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Hamlet and Riders to the Sea.
Now a resident of Andersonville, Garrett is pursuing acting full time.

Mike
Wilson (Luigi) is making his NEIU debut in We Wont' Pay.' He
has performed in many other shows such as
Clumsy Custard Horror Show,
Bone Chiller, Pink Panther Strikes Again, Harvey, Plaza Suite, and The
Curious Savage. Mike is studying theatre as his major and plans
on acting for the rest of his life.

Anna
Zimowska (Margherita) Anna is very excited to be making her debut on
NElU's Main Stage, and it only took her four Studio Series shows to finally
get here! You might have seen her in Dog Lady, Hotline, The Hebrew Lesson
or Suppressed Desires. We Won't Pay is Anna's first play
without her "partner in crime onstage," Michelle (Miss you!). Anna is a
music education major and a dance minor, and acting is a newfound "hobby"
that she just can't stay away from! She would like to thank Rodney for
this great opportunity, the wonderful cast, and friends and family for
putting up with her always being in some kind of a rehearsal. She hopes
to se you all at the NEIU Dance Show and Choir Concert!

Tina
Haglund (Costume Designer) holds a double major in English/ Speech
from NEIU. She is executive director of A Reasonable Facsimile Theatre
Company. In addition to 8 years as resident costume designer for NEIU she
has acted and designed for The Next Theatre, Famous Door, Sweetback and
many others.

Rodney
Higginbotham (Director) holds a M.F.A. in theatre direct-ing from Southern
Illinois University and a B.A. in Speech Education from Northeast Louisiana
University. He serves as Managing/Artistic Director of the Stage Center.
He has directed several productions for the Stage Center and for professional,
educational, and community theatre in Chicagoland.

Robert
G. Smith (Set Designer) has been the designer and technical director
for NEIU since 1984. Professionally, Bob is resident designer for Famous
Door Theatre, Stage Left Theatre, Red Orchid Theatre, Remy-Bumppo Productions
and Plastiscene. He has received seven Joseph Jefferson Citations, two
After Dark Awards and an Emmy nomination for his designs.
