Funding Opportunities - "If you don't apply, your proposal will be rejected."

Resources Newsletter

Resources, the OSP's newsletter, features upcoming funding opportunities as well as grant writing strategies and tips. In addition to federal grant opportunities, Resources will include state, local, and private opportunities when available.

Faculty Research Interest Form

OSP works hand-in-hand with NEIU faculty to identify potential funding opportunities for research and programmatic interests. Download and complete the Faculty Research Interest Form and return it to the OSP, and the OSP will seek out funding opportunities for your research.

Grants.gov

Grants.gov is the clearinghouse for federal grant announcements. The majority of the announcements are posted only 30 days prior to the deadline - the minimum time required by law.

It is also possible to subscribe to Grants.gov's email notification and/or RSS feed based upon your research and project interests. To learn more, look under "for applicants" on the right hand side of the Grants.gov homepage.

Internal Funding Sources

NEIU's Committee for Organized Research holds an annual competition to fund well-designed theoretical and applied research projects which have the potential for publication. Please check the Faculty Handbook and Resources webpage for the most recent announcement. The FY11 call for proposals has not yet been issued.

If you know of a funding opportunity of interest to your NEIU colleagues, please forward the information to the OSP for distribution.
