Experience the World in Albany Park: Globalization in Our Backyard will deepen our understandings of how people from around the world share different experiences, stories, and creative solutions to similar problems in one geographic space.

Highlighting the thriving partnerships and networks that tie Albany Park to the world, Experience the World in Albany Park: Globalization in Our Backyard goes beyond the conventional academic conference. It offers residents of Chicago and its surrounding suburbs a unique opportunity to meet with a multitude of community leaders to discuss important issues that are global in scope, local in significance, and useful for families to comprehend the past, celebrate the present, and anticipate the future of their communities.
