As an early childhood educator, I believe that every child should have the opportunities and experiences conducive to his or her cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.  I accept the challenge and responsibility of providing these experiences to every child placed in my care.  I present these experiences and opportunities to children in a variety of ways.  A few are listed below:

• I use a professionally designed Early Learning Curriculum ( Funshine Express ©)
• I integrate Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Math, Music, Technology and Physical activities into the curriculum.( Illinois Early Childhood Learning Standards )
• I Enroll the children in a School-based Literacy Program ( F.I.N.D )
