Text Box: The All University Charity drive has been going strong for a month. Volunteers have been donating clothes, toys, books, non-perishable foods, toiletries, cell phone and eye glasses. Thank you to everyone that has participated, but the need is still high for donations.
All donations will be delivered to the Albany Park Community Center on December 16. The Albany Park Community Center educates and supports members of the community as they determine their own path of growth and development, by providing diverse programs and services for individuals, families, groups and businesses. The center offers a variety of different services to people in the neighborhood including child care, counseling, Text Box: housing, literacy, adult education and food services. Our donations will aid in providing a happier holiday season for many people in the area.
Volunteers are still needed to help in sorting and collection of donations. The final pack up will be on Thursday December 15 from 1 pm to 4 pm. Delivery will take place Friday, December 16 from 10 am to 1 pm with a free lunch following.
Those who have donated their time and services to date are the Northeastern Programming Board, The Independent, and the Future Teachers Club.
If you have an questions or would like to help with the drive please contact Marsha Hay in SU 206 or at extension 4576.

Text Box: This holiday season will be the First Annual Holiday Wreath Display sponsored by the Student Union. Many departments and student organizations were invited to participate in decorating a wreath with a specific holiday or theme.
The wreaths will be put on display in the Student Union beginning on Monday, November 28 at noon. The display will run through the end of the semester.
Student organizations and Text Box: departments were given wreaths and supplies to decorate the wreaths with. A mini-decorating class was also offered to those that were interested.
The Student Union will have the wreath display annually. Those who decorated the wreaths this year can add to them each year or design new ones. If you did not participate this year, look for information next November.
Make sure to check out the display
