Running: Women and athletes are constantly looking for ways to prevent injuries and improve physical fitness.

It is a good idea to wear the proper sports shoes for the occassion(i.e., running, aerobic or walking) for women who exercise often.  If you are an active fitness person it is required that you buy new shoes at least every six months.

Drinking Water: Nearly two-thirds of water is found in the muscles of your body while the other half is in the bloodstream. If you don't drink enough water while you exercise you will suffer from dehydration.  In addition, water gets rid of waste and fat from your body.

Tip: DRINK PLENTY OF LIQUID -water specifically

Change your exercise routine: It is a good idea to change your exercise routine.  Your body needs a challenge in order to loose weight or become physically fit.  If your muscles don't feel tired or the heart rate is not moving fast you may need  to increase your workout and do something challenging.

Tip: Raising the speed on machines or hand weights may give you a bit of challenge. less weight more reps though -see a personal trainer for more details

Stretching: Do not stretch in the middle of a workout.  This is a good way to get a very bad cramp or injured.  Also, you want to keep the heart rate moving at a certain pace so you burn more fat.

Tip: Stretch before or two hours or more after your workout.
