How do I access Blackboard?
I registered for my classes, but do I have to enroll in my classes also?
No. You no longer need to manually enroll, that is done automatically when you register for your classes. However, not all classes are offered on Blackboard, so there might be instances in which you have registered for a class but not enrolled in it on Blackboard. Contact your instructor to find out more. Latest information regarding Blackboard issues can be found at http://neiu.blackboard.com. Click on the latest Student Blackboard info link.
What is my Blackboard Username and Password?
You do not need a Blackboard Username and Password. Blackboard can be accessed by signing into NEIUport and clicking the Blackboard icon on the navigation bar at top right.
If you don’t know your NEIUport NetID, please review the “What’s my Username” section.
How can I find out more about NEIU Blackboard?
Your professor may be the best resource of information for a question pertaining to an online course that they have created.

Online documentation is located on the SCS website by clicking on the ‘Tutorials’ link.
After signing into NEIUport click on Blackboard icon on the Navigation Bar. You will automatically be logged into Blackboard.
