Blackboard @ NEIU
Blackboard is a powerful Internet tool for teaching and learning. The Blackboard system allows students and faculty to communicate and share ideas and knowledge and serves to complement conventional learning methods in the classroom. The purpose of this document is to assist the user in learning the basic fundamentals of Blackboard.
Please note that NEIU’s Blackboard is for NEIU students only.
The different sections of this online tutorial can be accessed by clicking on the links at the top of the page or by clicking on the arrows at the bottom of the pages.
Login to NEIUport First
To access Blackboard you must first log into NEIUport, then click on the Blackboard icon on the navigation bar at top right in the NEIUport window.
If you have already logged into NEIUport successfully, go to the next section entitled “My NEIU.”
