Riding the road requires your full attention.
There is traffic, and at this time of the year there are a few
campers travelling the route. No doubt many are rented, and driven
by inexperienced drivers. At times the road is very close to the
edge of a cliff, sometimes high and sometimes near sea level. I
was travelling alone, for which I was grateful because I didn't
need to worry about anyone other than myself. If you take this
route in a group, I would strongly suggest you travel individually,
leave plenty of room, 1/2 mile or more, between riders and not
travel in clusters. Continue... the trek.
