This artist's rendition of Saint Simeon Mirotovici was drawn by a local artist, Joe Mulac, for the Southeast Chicago Historical Project.  This project conducted an extensive study of the neighborhoods of South Chicago, East Side, South Deering, and Hegewisch in the early 1980's.  Many of the materials collected or copied for this project are available at the Southeast Historical Museum located in the Calumet Park Field House, 9801 S. Avenue G in Chicago.
