Send in NEIU application with the Proyecto Pa'Lante box checked to the Proyecto Pa'Lante office in LWH 4029 at Northeastern Illinois University 5500 N. St. Louis Avenue Chicago Illinois 60625. Be sure to include with your application any required forms: personal statement, current high school transcript, official ACT scores, fee or fee waiver and one letter of recomendation.

October 15 - July 30

Pre-admission interviews begin for prospective students. Students will generally hear about an admission decision three to four weeks after their interview.

January 1 - March 1

Priority deadline period for submission of FAFSA (free application for federal student aid).

February - August

University placement tests in math, reading and writing are administered. An advisor from Proyecto Pa'Lante will assist you in signing up for these examiniations.

At the end of May

First year student orientation, adivsing and fall registration begins for Proyecto Pa'Lante students. An adivsor from Proyecto Pa'Lante will contact accepted students concerning this part of the admission process.

June 1

Application deadline for the Summer Transition Program.

July 1

Application deadline for NEIU applications.

At the end of August

Fall term begins at Northeastern Illinois University.
