Office of Research Development
The Office of Research
Development
(ORD) is dedictated to helping NEIU faculty develop their research
programs
and involve students in research, with a special focus on
health-related,
biomedical and behavioral sciences. We do this by:
- Conducting workshops
and
seminars
in research-related topics, such as human subjects and grant writing.
- Collecting and
disseminating
information on available grant opportunities.
- Mentoring faculty
during
grant
writing.
The director of the office
is Dr. Linda Rueckert, in the
Dept. of Psychology. We are funded by an Extramural
Associates Research Development Award from the National Institute
of
Child Health and Human Development.
