IX. Teaching Faculty Liaisons - Function and Role

Bibliographers communicate regularly with a designated liaison from each academic department in order to provide the ongoing formal and informal contacts necessary for the Library to build and maintain a collection which will support the curriculum of the University and for the Library to design and establish other Library services. Academic department chairpersons name the liaisons. While primary responsibility for the content of the Library collections belongs to the bibliographer, dialog between the teaching faculty and the Library bibliographer is needed and strongly encouraged.

Responsibilities of Teaching Faculty Liaisons

Designated teaching faculty liaisons for each fund are responsible for a number of activities. These include:
