VII. The Collection Development Committee - Function and Role
The Collection Development Committee is a standing committee of the Library. All Library faculty who serve as bibliographers are members of the Committee, as well as the Technical Services Librarians and all Library Administrators. Additional Library faculty and staff are asked to attend meetings when their input is necessary. The Committee is called to meetings at regular intervals by the Collections Program Officer who serves as Chairperson. It reviews policies and procedures of the Library and recommends them to the University Librarian.
