| How
do you get email account? |

Email accounts are automatically created
for students enrolled at NEIU. To obtain your account information,
bring your picture ID to CLS-3108. There you will receive your login
and password, which are necessary for account access.
|
| If
you can no longer log into your email account? |
|
Bring your picture ID to CLS-3108. A consultant
will address the problem and have your password reset.
|
| How
to change your email and Yoda password? |
| 1. |
Double click on the gamut icon. |
| 2. |
Type your login name and press enter. |
| 3. |
Type your password and press enter. |
| 4. |
At the gamut> prompt type passwd. |
| 5. |
The computer will ask you to enter an old password. You
should type in the password you are currently using. If you enter
the wrong password the computer will give you the message: Password
not changed: old password entered incorrectly. If this happens return
to step 4.
|
| 6. |
Next the computer will give you a list of options (see below):
Do you want (choose one letter only):

To pick your password (p) ?

If the prompt reads "Old password:,"

a new password, which must be 6 to 10 characters long. This new password
may not be your old, expired password. It will ask you to type in
your new password a second time, for verification. If the password
change was successful, you will see the gamut prompt (gamut>).
At this point, you may proceed with using your account.
|
| How
