Overview

Network and Distributed Services is responsible for planning,
implementing, and managing all network infrastructures at NEIU. We maintain
the network connections between all campus workstation and servers, links to
remote campuses, and Internet services. NDS manages all network hardware such
as hubs, switches, routers, servers, firewall, and security devices. We are also
responsible for maintaining all of the network servers hosting file and print services,
email, and various other applications and databases. Network security and virus
detection is provided by NEIU.
