To graduate, students must successfully complete the following requirements:
- 120 total semester hours
- a minimum of 12 semester hours each in the
Humanities, the Social Sciences and the Natural Sciences/ Mathematics/
Computer Science.
- a minimum of 30 semester hours at the
Upper Division (junior/senior) level (effective Fall 2011).
- a minimum of 24 semester hours of course work completed at Northeastern Illinois University.
In addition, all students must pass a college level examination or an equivalent course on the United States and Illinois Constitutions. Students must also fulfill Northeastern Illinois University's Writing Intensive requirement, the Improving Human Relations requirement and the Math/Quantitative Reasoning requirement.
A cumulative NEIU GPA of 2.0 is required to graduate.
