Holland is a place for walking and cycling.

It is a special place for me as my father lived there in 1945-46 and kept good relationships with the family that adopted him. Since then I have met the family and grew to love it too.

This July I walked one day in Apeldoorn. I also visited with Els and Adry, Alice, Anne-Marie and Peter, and Alida.

Last July, 2001, I walked 4 days in Nijmegen with Anton.

We started our AIDS vaccine ride from Amsterdam, on June 30th, and ended in Paris on July 7, 2002.

In Amsterdam I stayed in the beautiful Pulitzer Hotel on Prinsengraact.
