Course Description

JCL is a language that is used by programmers/analysts or anyone who needs to run programs on an IBM mainframe.

Unfortunately we have lost our mainframe. Therefore simulating the mainframe using Microfocus JCL which is located in CLS 2108 and hopefully also in our classroom FA104.

A prerequisite for the course is the knowledge of a programming language run on an IBM mainframe computer, such as COBOL or Assembler.
