Netiva Caftori

Original CS 300 Page

Welcome to Netiva Caftori's Web Development Page!

Netiva Caftori has been teaching Web Development at Northeastern Illinois University for over 13 years! Take a look at some of her students' works here.

I used HTML for the content, CSS for the design, and Javascript for the behavior of this website. Photoshop was used to make the faded border (using transparency and the Gaussian tool) of the styles Orbs of Color, Blue Circles and Pink Checkerboard, as well as the backgrounds themselves. The faded border to the central content is layered on top of the background.

You may have noticed the little .gif animation I used for a favicon, next to the URL. That was courtesy of www.favicon.cc. Speaking of animation, the slideshow you see to the right is controlled by Javascript, largely scripted by www.dynamicdrive.com, which borrows heavily from John Lesig's jQuery JavaScript Library v1.4.2.

There is an imagemap in the Professor Info page.
