Assignement 1a

Run the IEBGENER program as described in Assignment 1 on page 106 (in the 1st edition) in your book or page 134-5 in the 2nd edition to copy a card file to the printer without any changes (Dummy the SYSIN control cards file)

The input is a card file.

The format is

(unlike in the book)
  • columns 1-7: Course number
  • columns 8-37: Course name
  • column 38-41: grade (e.g., 3.25)
  • columns 42-80: Unused

    • Have at least 15 input records.

    The output is a printout of the same format.
